Aqualibrium is formulated with mid- and high-molecular-weight HA. We opt not to include low-molecular-weight HA due to the inconclusive evidence of whether it could be pro-inflammatory to the skin or not.
Citrullus Vulgaris (Watermelon) Fruit Extract & Pyrus Malus (Apple) Fruit Extract & Lens Esculenta (Lentil) Fruit Extract: This fruits mix is rich in vitamins, minerals, and other organic compounds that give the skin moisturizing and antioxidant benefits. Watermelon is one of nature's few materials to contain citrulline, which is essential to filaggrin's functioning, which forms a critical part of the skin's own water-based moisturizing complex.
Niacinamide (Vitamin B3) & Zinc PCA: Niacinamide is a multi-functional superstar with several great benefits to the skin. It has pro-collagen, skin-brightening, barrier repair, anti-inflammatory, and sebum regulating properties. Zinc PCA is one of the few actives that can help to regulate sebum production. It is also hydrating and has anti-microbial properties.

Pairing Aqualibrium
Aqualibrium provides intensive hydration in a weightless and non-tacky texture.
It sits perfectly in the hydration step of your skincare routine and can be used as a toner replacement. You can easily layer it with any other steps in your routine.
It is best to layer it with a moisturizer or sunscreen (at daytime) as the last step in your routine to lock in the hydration as Aqualibrium does not contain any emollients or occlusives.
If you have oily skin, you might be able to use Aqualibrium as a moisturizer replacement. Listen to your skin and look for signs of dryness and dehydration if you opt to skip the moisturizer.
Packaging Material
For the packaging of Aqualibrium, we opt for an airless pump packaging for two reasons: (1) It protects the content from oxidation so that it lasts longer; (2) The springless pump system is easier to recycle than traditional pumps.
The bottle is made of polypropylene (PP), while the cap and pump are made of HDPE, both of which are widely recycled globally.
Plastic recyclability varies depending on the plastic types and local recycler's capacity, but PP and HDPE is one of the most widely recycled plastic globally.
Our box is made of recycled cardboard and paper.
How to recycle
Clean out the residual content (if any) with water and separate the bottle from the pump before throwing them into the recycling bin.
